Andy Bloch | Andy"s poker career began in 1992 playing $35 tournaments once a month at Foxwoods. The first time he ever played a No Limit tourney he won. But what a win it was! He took first place at a World Poker Final NL tourney. The success led him to skip law school to play the WSOP in 1997 (who can blame him for that) and he became the trial person for the hidden camera we all take for granted when watching TV poker.
Passing the bar in 1999 he decided to do nothing with it, and returned to full time poker. Major tournament placings at both WSOP and WPT ensured he never returned. Andys skill is such that he is a regular feature in Las Vegas card rooms and can often be seen a the final table of major televised poker competitions. |
