Erick first appeared on our televisions screens playing the final table of the WPT. At the time he looked to be an ultra conservative player who rarely saw action. He has a playing style that is the opposite to Gus Hanson who we all know bets on anything and somehow always wins. Despite the conservatism Erick won the a WPT event in 2003 and followed it up just 10 months later by winning the top prize at the Party Poker Million III event. That game alone netted him in excess of $1m. Erick has no WSOP wins yet but that looks to be a matter of time. He has made the final table in WPT, WSOP or Professional Poker Tour events no less than five times so far in 2005.
