Phil Ivey

phil ivey Phil is originally an Atlantic City poker player, who grew up on the mean streets of New Jersey. He is a regular feature on ESPN and the Poker Channel and yet he is still only in his 20's. He won his first of five WSOP bracelets at the age of 23 and while we are very used to seeing him playing Texas Holdem on the television two of his WSOP titles were gained winning Pot Limit Omaha.

His greatest success todate came in 2002 where he tied with Phil Helmuth for the most WSOP bracelets won in a single year (three). He has todate won well in excess of $2.5m playing tournament poker.

Phil Ivey is a resident of Las Vegas and a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers. He plays his online poker exclusively at Full Tilt Poker.
