I have seen two answers on this site I was just wondering which one it is
***********.texashold-empoker.***/viewtopic98****
***********.texashold-empoker.***/modules****?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=93&highlight=flush+split+pot
Player 1 Kd Qd
Player 2 10d 9d
Community Cards 2d 5d 6c 7c Ad
Is it a split pot or does player 1 win?
The first link says it is a split pot, the second link says player 1 wins.
Also is there anyplace with offical holdem rules that answer questions like that. Most rules dont talk about in which cases you split the pot. |

Danikar,
Thanks for pointing out the anomoly which I've corrected . Player 1 wins this with AKQ52 all diamonds over A10952 diamonds.
I do not know of an information source that discusses this topic nor have I seen it explained on any other site. I'll ask around and post more if I find it in a rulebook. |

Thanks
I think that diffrent casinos have diffrent rules. It is kind of like Black Jack. I seen it played way diffrent on a cruise once. Well in terms of getting 21 at same time as dealer. |

Community cards on the board are Qh 7H 4h 6H 2H
Player 1 is holding 10H 3H
Player 2 is holding AS KD
Do you split the pot? Does player 1 use her 10H to replace the 2H for a higher flush or does player 2 use the AS as high kicker? |

I viewed the samples of a split pot and kickers and so far, I understood the reasoning. How about this scenario?
Community cards
2h 5s 10d 9s 8h
Player 1 - Ks Jd
Player 2 - Kh Qd
Would this be a split pot or would Player 1 win the pot due to its kicker of KQ? |

Hi Perns,
Player 1 wins in this situation with KQ1098 over KJ1098. It's only a split if the best 5 cards of 7 are equal. |

| Thanks for the info. From looking at my question, I meant to say Player 2 would win with the KQ in hand. |
