| If I have a pair and another person has the same pair(both have aces),who wins the pot?I had a 10 and he was holding a 2.Then said we can use the community cards as well.So who wins? |

Hello,
The winner is whoever has the best 5 cards. In this case you both had Aces but you won because your 10 kicker was higher. A split pot could have arisen if you'd had say a 6 because other than the Ace in the community you could have 4 higher community cards than the 6. As it's a ten this cannot be the case.
