Post subject: 6th Freeroll Texas Holdem Poker Tournament |

Hot on the heels of the end December $1000 freeroll at Titan, we are delighted to announce the sixth freeroll tournament offered exclusively to our members. The event has been moved and will also take place at Titan Poker on Saturday 28th January 2006 at 7.00pm Eastern Standard Time (New York Time).
There will again be a prizepool of $1,000, broken down as follows:
1st Place $250
2nd Place $200
3rd Place $150
4th Place $100
5th Place $50
6th – 15th Place $25
We plan to make freerolls such as this a regular feature with a members only league table, which everyone will be able to access on the site in due course. To take part follow the instructions from the homepage. Registration for this freeroll tournament is fast, free and simple. We hope to see you again at the tables for another entertaining event.
Feel free to pass the word to your friends, sign them up as members and help us build a community at texashold-empoker.

Unfotunately I will be on my holidays in mexico for this one so I won't be able to make it. I will be looking forward to the next one so and hope you keep me on the invite list. Good luck to all that play in this one and may the best 15 take home the dough. I'll think of you at tourney time and have a drink for the winner. What the hey I'll have a drink for the winner and one for each of the other in the money players.  |

ok everyone - tournament has been sorted out. We moved the event due to technical issues at Aspinalls. We hope to hold a future tournament at Aspinalls, but this one will take place at Titan Poker at the same planned time. Please follow the instructions on the Freeroll Tournament page and sign up using the password which has been published.
I've simplified the registration process - no need to email me, but I would say that whoever wins, has to be a member of this site. Anyone making the prizes who isn't a registered member will not be eligible for the cash prizes. Once again top 15 are winners.
Couple of site developments to tell you about:
1) I plan to keep a league table of our freeroll tournament performances which should be interesting
2) Members can keep a diary of their play and publish for all to see. I'd encourage anyone playing in this freeroll to talk write about their experience under the Blog section.

| What a great opportunity these tournaments are for our members. I just joined, and am glad I did! It's too bad I missed the first 5, but even the opportunity to play one of these (let alone all 6) is great! |

Welcome ramborjr,
They sure are - best value in town! Good practice for anyone, ability to try out rooms, and free. My hope is that I can build a community of people who play regularly, post on my forums and maybe even keep an online diary (see blog on the left) so that members can learn from others mistakes.
These freerolls are going to be monthly, although I may require a couple of forum posts to get into the next one, they'll still be excellent value.
Good luck in the game - I'm playing as MooBaaLaLaLa and hope to improve on my 14th place last time. |
