Just to mention,
don't you think that it will be better to make the tourney with restricted list, that may be send 6-12 hours before the start. As you said there were a lot of last minutes entrants. So first they may post one topic for just few seconds or to made other 3 non meanfull posts just to get the points.
And sending 2 hours pass also may be a problem issue, cos if someone from bigger community get it i may asure you that you will have at least 5-10 new registrations by each person that shares it. Which is nice for the promotion of the site.
I may give you another case, why don't you try to use it somesort of wasscasion system (****.wasscasino.***). There you may get the personal acceptation of the owner to become so called "active member" of the forum and then you are eligible to get passwords for just members events. In this way the activity of the forum will be bigger. |
