| THe rules ive read say the kicker is the card not held in common, but can the kicker be the 6th card? if two hands are exactly the same |

| Hi - the kicker won't matter if the best hand is made up of the same top 5 cards for both players. So if the community cards were kkAA10 and the respective players hold k6 and k2 then the pot is split as both players have kkkAA. |

| Alright, that scenario has a full house. What if the flop comes (Q Q 2 9 8) and player one has (Q 5) and player two has (Q 7)? This happened to me but the kid i was playing with said that he won because he had the higher kicker and that "you cant play the board and your hand at the same time." Please help, thanks. |

Dear Guest,
In the situation you outline here the hand would be a tie. Best 5 cards are QQQ98 which you both have. The kicker is irrelevant in your example. |
