Is there a rule that anybody knows about that if it comes down to high card than the high must be two cards greater. For instance if a King high aginst and Ace high it is a draw?

Hi Mav,
Your talking about the kicker. If the 2 players have AK and AQ respectively and the board shows AA248 then player 1 wins because his King is higher than player 2's Queen. Best 5 cards would be AAAK8 for player 1 and only AAAQ8 for player 2.
