Does a straight of A 2 3 4 5 beat a straight of 2 3 4 5 6 in vegas texas hold'em .. or did I get taken ? LOL  |

| I'm sorry to say it looks like you were taken. In your example the A is representing the number 1 so A-5 is the lowest possible straight. 2-6 is therefore the higher hand of the two. |

| I knew that, but this guy lives in Vegas and swore that was how it is there. I have never had the pleasure of playing hold'em in vegas and wasn't sure... Thanks! |

That'll be because in PaiGow Poker A2345 is the second highest straight after AKQJ10
Not the same in Texas Holdem. |
