Has anyone tried any of the poker odds calculators out there ? are they any good ? do they help improve your play and win rate ?
I am thinking about using one to assist me when playing. |

i tried to use it .. i downloaded "Poker Indicator" (and i'll say that is really good tool), it works only on play money (before buying a license) , so i tried to use it on play money to see how it works.
it is a good thing, telling your ODDS preflop, potodds after flop..but it started confusing me.. i can't look at the table and on down screen all way of my play.. (when i play tourney, i must concentrate (turning on TV, music, etc)) - i can't play more than one table (it is really confusing me..) so i turned it off and uninstalled.
but it is a good thing, so if you don't have concentration problems like me, i advice you to download it. |

| I have decided to try calculatem for a while. I don't get confused when using it but I do know what you mean about playing on more than one table. Decided not to do that a long time ago. Thanks for the tips. Will let you know how I get on. |

odds calculators are a hinderence to your game they only tell you the hard math based on all possible hands your opponent could have.
give em a try if you're having trouble with the basic math of the game but dont rely on them to let you know if your opponent is bluffing. |
