Post subject: How to ask questions and learn?

Would someone tell me step by step how to use this web site. I need to learn some mechanics of the game. For example, after posting small and large blinds, who begins the betting or folding?

This seems like a friendly and helpful site. Thanks to all for allowing me to be here.

Hello malardman and welcome to the site. The best way to learn the basics of texas holdem is to read all of the sections on the left in the Learn about poker box. Once you've gone through that come back here and ask any questions you like - I'll answer them usually within 24 hours.

Then take part in my monthly freeroll by clicking on the Freeroll Tournament link in the Poker Menu box. My monthly tournament really is free to members with no strings attached I've given away $1000 a month for over a year now. Usually all I ask in return is that you post you're poker experiences or questions here on the site - that helps me, which in turn enables me to give away the most generous independent freeroll prizes anywhere on the web.
