I usually play low limit games and always seem to lose with AA pre flop.
I know its the "best" hand, and I have tried various strategies, such as raising before the flop, but I keep getting beaten by people that have something like Q4 unsuited who hold on until the turn and river and pick up another Q and 4 and beat me.
Am I doing something wrong? |

The player who thinks they will make a huge profit with AA when facing multiple opponents in low limit is at risk of losing.
AA is the best preflop hand you can get, but it only wins appr. 1/3 of the time against 10 players. I think this is what most players have a really hard time accepting.
I guess we all feel that AA being a premium hand should win 100% of the time, and therefore we all have quite a few disappointments with them.
I prefer to play very aggressively early with AA in low limit games. You are going to be ahead of most players prior to the flop, and almost no matter what the flop, you cannot be much behind. |
