This situation came up yesterday at $2/4 Limit Party Poker. I realised after my fold on the flop that my odds of improving were better than 11:1,but by how much? I think, considering that it was raised pre-flop and 4 players were in that I might have been correct to call/bet.
I had AK which I raised pre-flop, 4 callers. Flop is J,10,2. I check from early position and a late position bets. I fold. Weak fold? I know I didn't have 11:1 odds to call for my gutshot draw. But what difference do the overcards make?

Love the name MoBaa.
Your post is timely - I didn't answer it immediately because I was writing a section on this very topic. You'll see it shortly in the "poker help" section.
The answer to your question is that you had 5 outs so your chances of improving your hand were 20% or 8:1 in a 2 handed game.
