Post subject: Goin' to Vegas, Baby!

Finally. My wife is sending me for 4 days for my 40th. Having never been, and having never played poker anywhere but the home game and local tourneys, I need help. I am staying at the Frontier, but I figure I can get anywhere pretty easily.

Where do I play? What casinos do you recommend for a small timer? (Bankroll will be approximately $500 for the 4 days).

What about cash/ring games? Limit is something I would like to sit down at and maybe grind out a half a day and see how I fare. I can't imagine just entering NL tourneys the whole time I am there. But then again, I can imagine it, and I can think of worse ways to spend 4 days.

WHEN do I play? Better to play later at night, when some folks have gotten their drinking into high gear? Mornings? Afternoons?

I am really looking forward to the experience of it all, and have no delusions about taking the town by storm.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
