We just started playing. There's about 8 of us that get together, the problem is the game is taking about 5 hours. How can we get the game to speed up?? Confused

Hi Violet - sorry to take a day to get back to you but I am on Holiday at the moment.

The problem you have is your blinds are rising too slowly. I would suggest that you all start with 1500 in chips and blinds set to 5/10. You should double the blinds every 10mins and cap them when they reach 4000/8000. Follow that and a 10 handed game will be over in 2 hours - 2.5 hours at most.

That way you can have 2 games in say 4 hours and those that lose early on don't go home after 10 minutes + they get a chance at revenge in game 2. If you're any good it gives you 2 opportunities to take their cash! Twisted Evil
