Can anyone tell me of a good software for running tournament on a laptop or pc?

Sorry - Michi, I can't recommend anything as I've never used the PC for live tournament play. To me the game is either hosted live with 9 friends based on a set methodology of 1500 in chips and blinds doubled every 10 minutes to a limit of 800. That sees the game out in 2 hours and enables 2 matches in an evening.
My PC play is of course just me playing which has been most evenings. I've not played any PC games or used the PC to assist my land based events.
