Lets say on the flop... there is 8-8-9-9-Q , ok, and lets say in one persons hand is a 2-3 and in the others there is a 4-5... WHO wins the pot? the one with the higher kicker in thier hand, or do they split the pot because there is a higher kicker in play which is the Q ??? I am very much wondering this...

Hi Baby, and welcome to the forum.
This is a split pot situation as both players have two pair with a queen kicker. We don't move on to look at the 6th or 7th card in Texas Holdem.
