I HAD A QUESTION ABOUT DETERMINING YOUR OUT ODDS. FOR EXAMPLE, IF I HAVE A FLUSH DRAW, I HAVE 9 OUTS. BUT WHAT'S THE FORMULA? IS IT OUTS/47 TO GET EXACT % OF SPIKING FLUSH?BECAUSE WOULDN'T IT BE 52 CARDS IN THE DECK MINUS 3 COMMUNITY CARDS AND YOUR 2 HOLE CARDS? IS IT 9 OUTS/ 47 CARDS LEFT IN THE DECK? 9/46? 9/37? DON'T YOU TAKE 47 CARDS LEFT IN THE DECK MINUS OUTS DIVIDED BY OUTS TO GET YOUR OUT ODDS(38/9)? I'M CONFUSED.

If you were on a flush draw waiting for the river card, your odds would be 9/46. which is about 19.5%.
Waiting for the turn, your odds would be 9/47 which is 19.1% to make a flush on the turn. But if you don't make a flush on the turn you still have another chance on the river. So the combined odds of finding the flush on the next 2 cards would be 35%.
