other player has

8--5

the table has a straight 45678

who wins and why?

Please correct if my opinion is wrong ? The table is a straight 45678 already. The one who has 9 will win. If not, the players staying at the table will share the pot.

This is a draw - highest hand is on the board and is shared by both players.

unless someone is suited and someone had a flush....then there's no draw.

Good point, although statistically that's 77000 to 1 Shocked

I've had 1 straight flush in a live game in my lifetime. You get them more often in online play.....
