ok i need a ruling first player goes all in and has 3 callers preflop
then after the flop 2nd to act makes a bet nad one of the 2 ramining folds the turn comes and the 2nd players continues to bet and the other reamining player folds leaving the original 1st to act all in player and 2nd player heads up the 2nd player shows a staight and has the winning hand the 1st act folds , then the noise came about whether 1st to act had to show his cards afterall he had 3 players call his original allin preflop can anyone nswer this |

Hi Pandalv and welcome to the forum.
In this case the first to act who went all in does have to show his cards at the end, once all the action is done. In this example it was down to just the first to act (he's allin) and the second player who by the turn card was the only other player left in the game. It is at this point that both players turn over their cards and watch the river play out.
It is not an option for the original allin player to decide he's not going to show people what he had. He's gone allin and has been called so has to show. Timing of the show after he's been called is when there's just 2 players left. |

| Does he hav to show his cards in a cash game, Or were you just speaking of tourny play? |

It may depend on the rules of the game you are playing in (they can be different from game to game) However in my opinion I would say the same rules we talked about above apply to cash games as well. I hope this answers your question armymom19D.  |
